「感應電壓調整器」其芯體結構類似「感應電動機」，分轉子(ROTOR)一次側電壓與定子(STATOR)二次側電壓兩部份，且都繞有線圈。經加額定電壓於轉子繞組，並與定子繞組互感後產生感應磁場，再藉由驅動馬達轉動轉子，改變與定子之相角度，以達到改變輸出電壓值之目的。

The induction voltge regulator has it s main structure similar to an induction motor's stator with primary voltage and rotor with secondary voltage. Both the stator and rotor have coils wound on them. A.Magnetic rield is generated by applying a rated roltage to rotor coils for mutual induction with stator coils.Its output voltage can be adjusted by rotating the rotor by a driving motor, to change the phase angle relative to the stator.
